Dad's Place and A Question For You

I am awash in greens! One of the problems of painting summer scenes up here is that there is soooooooo much green. It is so beautiful to look at in real life - just the greenest green you have ever scene BUT it does not translate well into a painting. So you have to create all shades of green - blue greens, yellow greens, white greens, olive greens, grey greens, etc. Too much vibrant green is actually a real turn off in a painting even though the actual scene has tons of vibrant greens. Weird! This painting of a scene at my Dad's place, is just such a place and I have really tried to tone down the greens - hope I was successful.
