Hi Friends,
Ever since the demise of Works in Progress almost 5 years ago. I've been wishing for a venue for performance art that was intimate, where artists could try out new ideas, blend genres, and have fun with performances that might not fit into other shows. I finally got around to trying to make this happen, and GenreQueer is it! Please see the info below and tell your friends! We hope to make this a recurring quarterly event, so please also let us know if you'd like to perform in the future.

GenreQueer offers a kick-ass headlining performer and/or author, plus works-in-progress from local artists in poetry, erotica, cabaret, drag, burlesque, performance art, spoken word, and comedy. GenreQueer, is a new venture presented by In the Streets Productions (producers of The Femme Show.)
