Hello everyone,

Hope the day is going well for you so far...

Your "homework" this week for Monday is to read the book of Daniel
keeping in mind the purpose of this study... (see below).

If it is not too much of a problem, could everyone also send me their
telephone/cell numbers? Thanks.

Some more ideas about the meetings... besides the usual discussions on
the weekly homework, Dave or Nwamiko or I will occasionally give
presentations or lead talks on relevant history, current events (like
Dave did last night) or other special topics (like Nwamiko's talk on
marriage). (I hope I am not stepping out too far on a limb, guys, since
I did not ask you first.) We might also fit sermons or seminars in
there also if everyone thinks they are relevant. What does everyone
think?

Please forward this email to anyone you think might be interested in
this Bible study group.

If anyone disagrees with anything I have said in this email please get
back to me as soon as possible.

Reminders...
------------

As a reminder, the point is not to understand everything you read but
to notice links between the given text we are studying and the rest of
the Bible that you might not have noticed other wise. These links may
be words, expressions, or ideas. Pray before you begin that the Holy
Spirit will enlighten your mind and open your eyes to a greater
understanding of the Bible as a WHOLE with special emphasis on prophecy
and these last days. (Please make notes on what you discover so we can
discuss them.) In digging deeper into Gods word we will be strengthened
and we will be able to strengthen others and also have sharper weapons
and more well honed skills to face the battle which will only become
more fierce as we push the attack.

All new material we discover will be first placed online (on the
website mentioned below) and following that, as soon as possible,
turned into a seminar or set of sermons which may be used to strengthen
the SDA church and spread the light of truth to other churches. Also
the material is destined for a website of it's own and perhaps movies
of the seminars could be placed on the HIM website.

There is a Google Group associated with this group named "The End Time
Big Picture". You can find it by going to the Google Group website
(http://groups.google.com/) and searching for the group name in the
"Explore groups" field found in the middle of the page OR you can find
it by going to this link:
http://groups.google.com/group/the-end-time-big-picture

All material on this website is user submitted and with time will be
verified against the Bible and cleaned up or thrown out. Please have a
look and send comments.

If you have not joined the group please do by either accepting an
invitation email from Google Groups or by asking me
(james.wa...@mail.mcgill.ca) to send you one. All communication in
the future will be through Google so please do join up.

Please send any comments, questions, or points of disagreement to
james.wa...@mail.mcgill.ca.

God bless you and have a beautiful day.

In Christ,
James

Hey James,
I agree with the format that is put together for Mon. Meet-up's. By the way, if its not too much...I would like to make a presentation like a mini-sermon to the bible study group on
"The voice of God". As we are moving forward on doing God's work in these last days, i believe that it is very important that we all work together, study together, everyone have a chance to present if impressed, and also pray for one another. No one should be doing this great work solo. So, let's look out for eachother

Besides the ones we heard before, i really would enjoy hearing other members of HIM giving a mini-sermon, or presentation to the group if given the chance. I am thankful for everyone. Keep up the good work guys, and much love in Christ-Jesus.

Reynald

P.S. Let's keep Stephanie in our prayers.....miss you already :( :)

Hey Reynald,

> I agree with the format that is put together for Mon. Meet-up's.

After reading the email titled "the Bible Study and ME" do you still
agree?! :)

> By the way,
> if its not too much...I would like to make a presentation like a mini-sermon
> to the bible study group on
> "The voice of God".

I hope the above mentioned email is self explanatory and not
confusing.... so in short since the note part and the resulting
discussion are not in my hands all I can say is be ready to speak. If
there is time you will go, if not, then perhaps next time.

I hope you now understand that for the most part this will not be a
solo thing. I will be the moderator and the discussion will surround
the text I gave as homework the Monday before. Everyone will have the
right to speak and add to the discussion. I will be there to keep the
confusion to a minimum.

> Besides the ones we heard before, i really would enjoy hearing other members

Anyone wishing to speak just email me and if the topic is not too far
from the focus of the group then it will happen. Once again I would
remind everyone that most meetings will be all discussion of the Bible
text for that week so there will be little time, I believe, for
mini-sermons.

God bless...
