Nwamiko's insight on Christ walking amongst the 7 lampstands (Rev 1)...

Hello again,

for those of you who were not at the Meet-up when Nwamiko gave this
explanation here it is...

Revelation 1:12-13; 2:1 => Jesus (dressed as a priest) walking amongst
the 7 lampstands
Exodus 25:31-40 => 7 branched lampstand of sanctuary has almonds
and flowers

So Jesus is walking amongst what looks like burning trees... or a
burning bush... What does this remind us of...

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him [Moses] in a flame of fire
out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned
with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Exodus 3:2

We know that this bush was on or at least very near Mount Sinai...
there is some indication (assuming this is not an old finding) that
Revelation 4 and 5 are about the giving of the law on Mount Sinai and
Moses' subsequent visit to obtain the two tablets of the Law. If no one
has anything to say on this then hopefully I will get back to this soon
and give you what I have found... it is just I never finished the
research.
