I am asking everyone to start to think about how interconnected the
Bible is... I'm asking everyone to make notes on the homework
assignment text... Please do not worry about it if at times you find
nothing. Don't worry if your knowledge of the Bible is not that great
(either because you are a new Christian or you have not been much of a
Christian for a while... I've done that for the past 5 years). As your
knowledge of the Bible and your relationship with God improves so will
your ability to see how interconnected the Bible is. We will attempt to
cover a lot of the Bible as fast as we can. This way you will hopefully
remember more, at least for the short term, and thus be able to draw on
a lot more of the Bible when you read passages.
We are looking to understand the times we live in but more importantly
we are looking to know God as we have never known him before. Remember
that by beholding we are changed and thus no time we spend with God's
word is every a loss. Keep digging and looking to the author and
finisher of our faith and we will be home with Him sooner then you or I
think.
