The monthly meeting next Sunday from 3-5 PM

Dear Egyptians;

I am inviting you for the monthly meeting for the center next Sunday, July 3rd from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the center location at 5881 Leesburg pike # B1-a

The topic is the future of the Egyptians center , Establishing a committed board members and defining immediate goals and the Arabic classes provided by the center

last Sunday was announced on a short notice and the attendance was only two people, and I am hoping to have a better interest on the monthly meeting.

I believe the center Idea is a valuable Idea that the community needs at least to

to introduce our culture to our children

to maintain the Arabic language to our children

to get our kid  from different age groups to know each other

to make it easy for Egyptians to know each other and marry from each other

to create an atmosphere of civilized conversations between different ideas and religions

to strengthen the Egyptians presence in the  American life

to create financial help for those of us who fall in need

to help Egyptian ameicans abused by any Egyptian  or American authorities

to create a network of professional services (medical, legal and all other services) at a low cost and discounts available to Egyptians

to plan for for fun events to explore the community talents and creativity 

to bridge the gab between the american culture and our culture

to help new comers to unites states

to improve the image of america to the Egyptians in Egypt

to invite renowned sypols of Egyptian society and introduce america to them

to teach people about their rights and and about practicing democracy in america

to see what are the ways of helping our motherland Egypt

to protect our political rights in Egypt

to coordinate between all Egyptian american organization

As you can see the list is long and many of the needs have not been met before and it is not the work of one person but a work of community that want to succeed and many other communities have succeeded before us and the example of the American Jewish community worth applauding

We all can be satisfied just by living individually like living in isolated islands and raising our kids without paying attention to the importance of community work and pass our failure and differences to our kids and this an easy option but the price is too high to our kids and our souls
