Heart-felt thanks

I want to take this moment to offer my heart-felt thanks to each and
every one of you. Now that I've had a few days to get things arranged
and reflect on the past 6 months, I realize that I am living the
dream. To have people thank you for your work and to have your
praises sung around a campfire is more than any monarch could ever
wish for, and it warms my heart.
Even though I am no longer monarch, I am still busy getting things
done. On the Kingdom and IK level, we've got the videos coming out,
the website under construction, the recruitment/newbie website going
live really soon, and the archiving being done. On the local level, we
are starting a new recruitment tool; a free monthly BBQ.
That's right, once a month, Mordengaard is hosting a free BBQ to
encourage people to come out and bring their friends and family.
Mordengaard also encourages you to visit on these days as well. Our
first BBQ is on Sunday, January 10th. Come on out, play some Amtgard,
meet new people, and eat some BBQ!
Once again, thank you for your support, wisdom, and encouragement. I
hope to see you soon, especially on January 10th. ;)
