Looking for local artists

[Smash & Grab Entertainment]

I wanted to pass along an alternative promotional opportunity for
local artists.

Launching this September is a new company I have started called Smash
& Grab Entertainment....featuring a Non-Profit Music and Art
Entertainment series that will focus on promoting local artists, the
community and supporting area schools.

The effort I am putting together will feature a network of quality
local artists and entertainers from right here in the Triad with the
goal of showcasing all the incredible talent that currently call the
Triad home. The show is innovative in that we will not be waiting for
people to come to us...instead we will be going to them through the
use of a mobile audio system and staging set up.

The show will feature many types of artists (like a "snapshot" of all
the art and entertainment in the area) and allow artists to present
their music and art in 20 to 25 minute "mini sets". We do mini sets
because instead of doing one show a night we plan on doing 2 to 3
shows a night to maximize the exposure and marketing potential of each
artist.

A typical show might look like this.

"Smash" into a bar or restaurant. And "grab" people attention with the
hottest local art and entertainment.

Example show...

1st act - Country
2nd act - Comedy
3rd act - Acoustic Guitar
4th act - Spoken word poetry
5th Act - Rock
6th act - Artist presentation
7th act - R & B

The idea is to help local artist build or enhance their fanbase by
getting in front of as many people as possible in a shorter time
frame.

We also are also including "Tweetup's" where S&G members can network
and socialize after the shows.

Partial proceeds from the shows will go to Smash & Grab's Non-profit
Foundation - The Local Artist Foundation...supporting Music & Art
programs in area schools.

We will also be offering job training to the community.

This is a true community effort designed to support local art and
entertainment, the community through job training and children's Music
and Art programs through S& G's The Local Artists Foundation.

Obviously, we cannot do it alone. We need the support of local artist
to truly make this happen. We will be offering a variety of tools to
assist artist in thier promotion and marketing including Video, social
networking and traditional advertising including print, radio and
television and merchandising through Smash & Grab. All of which will
be free to artists. We are also offering development an training
opportunities.

Depending on your success, ongoing support could include audio
recording, Video production and long-term recording contracts.

This is a serious effort for serious artists. Every effort will be
made to develop, maintain and promote "your particular brand". S&G is
simply a tool to help promote what you do and how you do it.
