anyone with a great experience with a particular company creating
stickers for you?

Contagious Graphics in Charlotte. I do/did all of my Gate City Noise, Flying anvil, and Beard and Moustache Club shirts and stickers with them. Steve Munsell, who started it, is an old friend of mine and you can tell him I referred you if you want.
