Actual group size of members is about 30 or so, but active member are
a lot smaller. Some of us fight 3 times a week, while others fight
one, and some yet every now and then,

A lot of us (i.e. the majority) actually use PVC bows. Basically take
a three foot or so length of 3/4" PVC (I'd honestly use the thinner
walled stuff), drill holes in the ends, and tie of a piece of
weedeater string. It helps to have someone help you on that last step,
and it's probably safer too.

lol kk thanks but wouldnt the pvc be straight up and not curved? and
if it is curved the string must be holdig it that way and that does
not work out lol to much pressure over time and tension. i was looking
it up online do people really use real wood bows? like i saw one site
where they say to use a yew longbow lol

Yeah, those bows actually last a long time and it beats having to buy
a real one. Save your money and try out the game before you purchase
one. You can be 17 and still play, I believe the minimum age is 14.
CARPOOL!!!! lol

Yeah mang, where do you live? there could be someone close by who you
could pick you up. The age will not be a problem as long as you are an
upstanding mature person.

i live in titusville and so anyway im making a bow like u guys said
but how do i tie the weedeater string? also do any of u guys know
where there might be some elastic string around? b.c. that would work
so much more and would cost no strength lol

Akiba

You will have a constant loss of power with elastic as it gets
stretched. The weedwacker and PVC will stretch but will eventually
come to a stopping point. Basically on both ends of the pvc you'll
want to drill a small hole through both walls of the pipe. Tie a stop
knot at one end and get someone to help you bend the pipe. THIS IS
WHERE YOU NEED TO BE SAFE!!!! Make sure you use thinner walled PVC to
get a feel for it and don't go too thick for you first couple of
attempts. After you feel comfortable with the bend, slip the other end
of the string and tie a knot ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE OTHER ONE!!!! I
can try to post up some pics of how to do it if you want, 'cause i
don't know if I explained it well enough lol.

yeah i made one but its so hard to use what type of pvc should i use

As I said before, get the thinner walled 3/4" stuff. That'll allow for
the most functional strength.

SHOULD be pretty easy but you don't want it to be any heavier than 35
lbs or it will not pass weapon inspection.

how do you messure how many lbs it is on the pull back?

Akiba

the best way is to get a bow scale but if you don't have to tense up
more than sixty percent of your back, it's probably not over 35 lbs

Yeah. Is there anyone you know who you could train with? Like spar? If
so you should really make two identical blue weapons and have at it...
