I got an “Delivery Status Notification (Failure)” message when I tried to send this in an earlier email, but the attachments were too big.
I converted them to PDF files, and am sending it again!

Greetings Davis Cousins!
Karen Garza is another Davis cousin! She found me through Ancestry.com and we have been exchanging emails.
Karen is descended through the Jeremiah Davis who was born in 1857.
She has attached 3 Word documents, one is a story about Richard Davis and his family (SV Article Nelson Davis.docx), one is a story about the home of Fred Davis, and the third is a collection of obituaries and a list that Karen and I cannot quite figure out.
The scanned documents in the SV Article Nelson Davis are hard to read, I am sending a second email with the text formatted all together.
I am forwarding this original email from Karen, if any of you have problem opening the attachments, let me know and I can save to an earlier version of Word or a PDF file.

Subject: Davis family news scanned
Hi Laura,
I have dug into my Grandpa Raymond Davis' Obituary box and newspaper articles. I am going to attach what I have scanned.
The newspaper articles were hard to scan/copy, so it would probably be best to print them out to read them and try to piece it together. Sorry, the Fred Davis house has Jeremiah and Bridget's name in the article.
Also, there is a list of people with birth dates/death, in my grandpas handwriting...Fred Brandle is the first name. Never heard of this name before?? I'm not sure what this list is.
Enjoy,
Karen Davis-Garza
