That is an awesome find Connie. What is the name of the paper you
used to prove that so I can source it to you? If we find out
Margaret's maiden name I bet her family came from Livingston too.

Hi Everyone,
The PDF is 37 pages long and I can't upload it in segments. The google website won't allow 4MB of information uploaded.
It comes from the National Archives. I paid $75 for it. I have to copy the CD and scan them in. Many of the papers are redundant. First Aaron applied for a mother's pension then changed the document to a Father's pension since his first wife died. He went through 2 lawyers and it took a few years I think to get the pension approved.

Aaron and Margaret Davis were married in Livingston, NY.

Didn't Aaron himself enlist in the 27th Michigan? If those documents
list parents, this may be worth looking into as he'd have to Jeremiah
Sr . and hopefully his wife. My mind is groggy right now and I can't
find the right document. I seem to remember that though. If that is
the case, I would go in on it.

That's interesting because Jeremiah Davis lived in Livingston County, NY!

Do you have anymore information about the marriage, when and where?

Wonderful that your still working on the family. Grandma alice davis cundy
always said that they were welsh and from vermont. I tried to stop and see
the mark davis clan at higgins lake but no one around. I see another
Davis, a women listed her house and she is in the same assocation as the
mark davis family. David

Connie; I have submitted my moms dna to a company called 23andme. It has
been very interesting to say the least. Her mom was Alice Davis, decended
from Ishmael, Mirandi, Jeremiah II, Jermiah I I believe. I have been in
contact with you previously as well as Richard Schultz. For the life of me
I can not find our family tree. I am hoping you can send me a copy so I
may help solve alot of answers from contacts on 23andme. Our closests
family so far is Fred Krause and Jane Devota, both decended from Ebenezor
Davis Mirandis brother. Fred is from Davison Michigan and Jane of all
places my home town area Chesaning-New Lothrup Michigan. We have had
lively conversations although we do not even know each other. My family
centennial homestead is still in Lakefield Michigan and their is a defunct
George Davis farm a mile away and yet to find a connection. I have stopped
at the Mark Davis cottage in Higgins Lake and left my card with info. but
not a reply. I fear that they just dont care or think that I want to sell
their home, HHHHHHa. Help me if you can. David Dankert
