Hi Everyone,
I'd like to contribute too; but would like to see a cap on what we are willing to spend. I also think that we should focus on Jeremiah Davis SR. ..Who were/weren't his children. There seems to be too much mystery around him. I believe we are all connected through the Simeon 1st and Samuel Davis family line from VT who travelled to NY. I am thinking that church records from NY may give us a clue as well as records in Livingston. They may be the only place that birth information appears. That person in the historical society never got back to me. Not too impressed with them; but maybe funding got cut.
Perhaps as the geneologist is searching we should ask her to keep an eye out for the possible children's names too who were born in NY. She did indicate that a lot of info. appears after 1885-perhaps too late for us.
Whoever hires her /him please e-mail me directly with your home address so I can send you a check.

P.S. I may make a journey this summer myself to search but am not sure yet.
Wisconsin hasn't been too kind to teachers in the last year and I've had quite a cut to my income.
PPS.
Just wondering if those of us females related through Nancy Davis Arman and Fannie Arman Davis have submitted DNA in the genographic research a couple years ago. I got my results and could compare with you offline. Miticondrial DNA doesn't change much over a thousand year period.
Thanks for looking into another researcher.
