Well, we didn’t have a speaker last week & our President was out of town, but fun was had anyway! Lead by 1st Vice President, Lion Carolyn L., lots of laughs, some shenanigans by Al Wynn (recipient, Lion Wayne J.) & the birthday song for Bob Delaney couldn’t have been sung any prettier…hahaha! Happy 60th Anniversary to Dick & Dorothy LaFever was relayed by everyone over speaker phone…couldn’t do that back in the old days!!! WELCOME BACK Lions Annette Byers (schools out)! & Chuck Gomez (The Hoot is over & very successful)! Thank you, Lion Chuck, for putting the 36G Convention in Lights!! Lion Ethan W. & Grandson of Lion's Ross & Nancy C., Logan, made the dip fantastic to support Special Olympics Polar plunge last Saturday. Fun Times!!
After the Plunge a group went to the Follies in Hood River to help support Oregon's Sight & Hearing Foundation. Cute show....a must for next year!!
Tomorrows Speaker will be Eve Elderwell from Next Door, the largest social service agency in the Gorge. Let’s show her a warm Lion Welcome!! Thurs 3/26 Board Meeting at noon – Casa El Mirador.
