Monday’s Reminder of Tomorrow’s Meeting!

Welcome back President Lion Brad!! He shared highlights of his vacation in Africa & elsewhere (you should have been here to enjoy it). He also did a gracious shout out to Lion Carolyn with regard to her great management skills for projects involving food. She organized & prepared the trailer that will be used at the swim meet. And, to Lion Tim for the years that he has grown our club & assisted on growing others! THEN – He bid farewell to us….he’ll be moving to Chicago area June 26th! Lion Brad, you’ll be missed & Thank You…for all that you have done for this club!!
In his travels he has become acutely aware of how much our dues have helped all over the world through Lions International. Even if you don’t attend meetings or can help with projects…you are making a difference through your Membership Dues!
Dues can now be given to Lion Kris H., up until June 29th, 2026
If you can’t make the June 29th deadline, please contact Club Secretary Kris to make arrangements for payments for your membership to continue. After 6/29 ($5 late fee)
Lion Chuck took to the podium & shared 2 heartfelt stories of KFC chicken & a wheelchair. Another one that you should have been here to listen to. Moral of the story is “Think Positive”! Just a note here, if you have something you want to share, don’t be afraid…we are all friends in this Den!!!
Guests: we enjoyed Fran Fox & Shayna Newsome again…hopefully, maybe, induction at the end of the month??? Also, a drop in by a very active Lion from Hermiston, Bev Ridgewater. Always nice to have Lions from other Dens join us for a visit!

Missed a Note of Thanks last week…to Lion Jen, for her coverage & article on Facebook of our induction on June 2nd. We are very lucky to have her talents for our publicity!! Check us out on facebook & our own website!! She does it all!!
Lion Tim, now, Past District Governor, shared a video of the last 100 years of District G36. Wonderful overview of the many projects our club has been a part of!!
