After Awards were given to those that were not in attendance at the Party in the Park, Committees gave their reports. Lion Jen talked about the Celebration Gala at the Granada on October 10th. She asks that those that can bring finger foods. More info to come as we get closer each week so keep your eyes open for emails!
Great News from our Past District Governor, Lion Tim! New Lion Clubs in the works in Dufur & Maupin!! Our Mission is getting accomplished with this growth…WOW!!!
Lion Mike K. gave an update on the much-needed reno of the stairs at Sorosis Park. He is meeting with contractors to sort the nuts & bolts of the project & we hope to have a final approval to move forward soon! Great Job Lion Mike!!
Very Nice comments given to the Gorge Wind Concert in the Park for the 4th of July Celebration…What a Wonderful Community We Have!!

July 27th: 5:30pm – Sorosis Park - Lion Jim Wilcox will present a check to our Fair City for the Lion’s Share of the Federal Street Plaza Water Feature. It would be so nice to have a big group of tie-died Lions there to clap & show support for this!!
Aug 29th: 8:30 to Noon - Shopping with Heroes. Lion Kris will give more info later!
We’ll have our City Mayor & all-around Great Lion…Lion Rich be our greeter!
(No one) showed up again & won the 50/50 pot! This means more for tomorrow!!! You gotta come & play a dollar (or up to $5) to win!!
