Last Week: After committees gave their reports, several guests were introduced.
Lion Ethan introduced Tony Merz, a former Eye Opener Lion from Hood River that is now working here in The Dalles.
Lion Carolyn’s guest Chris Grant has visited several times & is soon to join (we hope). He shared a Wildfire Safety Forum that will be at the Granada, Thursday May 21st. For More info Click Here! Smokey & Sparky will be in attendance!
Lion Kris’s guest (hopefully new member soon) Brianna King from Columbia Basin Assisted living spoke with us about their Fresh Friday Market.
Lion Tim introduced his guest, Shannon Newson…possible new member!
And, to round out the guests was our Lion Paul Z. that joins us about once a month. Love having him & anyone you might want to bring!!
Vacationers & Lions Mike K. & Patti B. shared fun tid bits of their travels. So good to have them both home safe & sound!!

Induction News! Grant Boheme is our newest (no longer a cub) Lion! For those that were not in attendance, Grant moved here recently & has been attending our meetings. He is a Lion in Albany & has now joined us as an Honorary Lion. Welcome Grant!! Inductions are the Tuesday after the Board Meeting so please keep in mind so you can be here too!
WOW! Great fun at the Community Clean Up. Good turn out of Lions to serve hot dogs, goodies & some laughs to all that wanted them!!
Next UP: Saturday 5/16: Community Celebration & Free Hot Dog Lunch @ Sorosis Park.
