Cherry Festival this Saturday

Hi everyone!
If you didn’t get a chance to sign up for Saturday… it’s not too late, we’d love to have you join us!
We’ve got a great day lined up, starting with our parade through downtown The Dalles. Jim Wilcox will be our fearless pilot, and we’ll have benches for anyone who wants to ride and wave like parade royalty 😁 (bonus tip: bring a cushion, these are wooden benches). Just throw on your Lions gear and come be part of the fun!
We’ll be lining up somewhere behind Goodwill, feel free to text or call me (number below) if you want to jump in and need help finding us. You don’t need to arrive before 9:30, but earlier makes parking and access easier. We’ll be there around 8:30 with sunscreen and bottled water ready to go.
And if parades aren’t your thing, come hang out at our community booth! There’s been a location change this year, booths will be in front of the Civic, and yes, we’re close to Shannon’s Ice Cream 🍦
Honestly, this is one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do. It’s fun, it’s visible, and it’s a chance to connect with our community in a big way. Plus… it’s just a really good time with great people.
