Dear Lions and Leos,
Welcome to a new Lion year — a new chapter of service, kindness and global impact. I am honored to serve as chairperson of our global foundation, inspired by the generosity that helped us reach so many last year. Celebrating LCIF’s success at the 107th Lions International Convention was a proud moment. With your support, we raised over US$81 million for future service.
As we begin a new fiscal year, I look forward to trying new things and finding different ways to encourage support of our foundation. During the last fiscal year, I was proud to introduce the very first FVDG/DGE fundraising challenge that raised more than US$1 million for LCIF. As you read this newsletter, I hope you too are inspired to support the foundation in new ways — by donating, applying for grants or sharing our impact. I look forward to the incredible LCIF-funded projects ahead and connecting with many of you this year.
