Twitter friends suggested glurp and slurp and one insisted that it is still nom... but I dont think "currently nomming on a killer negroni" makes any sense. Please send me your ideas. I will tell the internet.
there hasn't been a Humpus in a while because Humpusing is not kosher for passover. or something. there hasn't been a Daily Rumpus either so whatever. Stephen had an event tonight but I didn't go; I needed a night in my hood and to get cracking on this apartment business. Also Stephen is apparently dating a friend of a friend...ha. hahaha. Haaaaa.
Stuff on my mind: looked at some awesome apartments w/ the boyfriend tonight and couldn't really afford them but there was one we were pretty into... goddamn broker's fee, though. On the other hand...it comes with a microwave AND dishwasher. Dishwasher!!I Talking about apartment and money stuff was emotional and draining... I have stuff I really need to do but just..drained. Here's what I wrote to my burlesque troupe at like, 10 AM:
So many ups and downs this morning already!
and THEN I found out that that apt was taken. SADNESSSS. BUT problem author did not reply to my email so ...yay? Also another author said she wanted to work on an electronic manuscript which I think is v. exciting. Yay streamlined revision process! Ok done w. publishing nerdiness.
and then, other apartment we're crushing on! Fingers uncrossed then crossed again for something else!
And my computer's being wonky...and apparently people are rolling tin cans down the street outside. boyfriend is already asleep but tossing and turning... ruh roh. Actually...um... so...we keep condoms under the pillow and he is sleeping restlessly and condoms keep dropping on the floor. It's funny...but also a little disconcerting. Oh, is that TMI? Too fucking bad. See that unsubscribe thinger at the bottom? there ya go.
anyway. gonna hit you w some stuff on the internet n then peace out.

Anyone remember when Melissa Auf der Maur was a lesbian? I feel like I thought she was... huh. who cares she's like a less druggy or pixied Tori and I edited this video! which took longer than I wanted it to b/c I wanted to time the MADM screaming just right and I did. Muahaha...fun with iMovie!
I am IN this video, sitting next to the aforementioned boyfriend (aww)... I get to talk near the end. Also I edited it and mistyped OMFG to OMGF and when the boyf looked over it he didn't catch it. (see? not all my fault) She says "I use fucking to get places." Then she said, "I'm kidding" heee. Whatevs, Melissa, no judgment. You used your (imaginary) lesbianism to get places, wink wink. Also, she talks about the SMITHS! Wooo!

I want to write for this site SO BADLY: http://nachosny.com but I have 2 blog posts I owe to 2 people and haven't written them and now Im tired and drained. But hellur, nacho seder plate? these are my people! That is, the CHOSEN people. Ahem, the Na-chosen people? right? riiiiight? Puns.
also, not many people know that I collect copies of Alice in Wonderland. I have like, 16 copies in english and maybe 5 in foreign languages (french, spanish, Portuguese, turkish... um...possibly german?) So anyway, if you travel somewhere cool get me an Alice. Here is a picture of the ones at my parents house: http://ow.ly/i/ZnE and I have 3 or so in brooklyn. when we get a new place they're all moving in w me. with the rest of my books. mmm so many booksssss.

(***Reckless is a reader of the Humpus...we postponed til Wednesday but that was actually preferable to both parties and not because she lives in flake city. For the record, I work in flake city and that's how we can have lunch together so easily.)
