(I mean I) at The Humpus are (I mean am) looking forward to the weekend. There’s enough Humpus here to last until
Monday. A trenta of Humpus.
Ok so, you guys should totally consider taking the Daily Rumpus
Survey. It’s actually pretty awesome.
My answer to “what role does The Daily Rumpus” play in your life was
particularly brilliant. I wonder if he'll know who I am or what will happen with the survey results. Kind of excited to see.
Daily Humpus survey to come when I reach 20 subscribers. It'll be just as

And THEN, and only then, I will announce the existence of the Humpus on Twitter. And the internet. And the web. But not
before. (Now is when you forward stuff to your friends and get them to

Actually the Daily Rumpus was good today—the part about the group home
and the tattoo? It was good. Good job, Stephen.
So this morning I heard on NPR that Starbucks is going to start offering a
Trenta—bigger than the Venti, 31 oz of iced beverage. (I used to work at Starbucks,
the coffee shop mentioned in Humpus 6—what you thought it was some indie Brooklyn joint? Nope.)... no one needs that. On the other hand, they put too much ice in
the iced drinks so it might balance out.
List of things people ordered from me when I worked at starbucks that met with
my disapproval:
the Brevé (I guessed at the accent but that’s how it’s pronounced)–a latte or cappuccino made with half and half
instead of milk... oddly it was the super-thin women who did this the most
often.
the venti quad red eye—4 shots of espresso in a venti cup (20oz), fill the rest
up with coffee. Dude, I know caffeine pills got a bad rap with Jesse
"I'm so excited, I'm so scared" Spano n whatnot but...they're
cheaper. Look into it.
venti caramel frappuccino—the caramel frap is pretty gross (omg sugar
sugarrrrr!) but this is mostly b/c it was a super pregnant woman who would get
one every Friday and you CAN get it decaf but she didn't and I was all...do I
SAY you can get it decaf or do I just let her get all sugared and caffeinated?
The caramel macchiato—no, not because a macchiato is
supposed to be just espresso and a touch of foam, but because it’s truly
gross.
Decaf—haha, just kidding, I’m ok with decaf. If you’re pregnant. Ok just kidding it’s fine in general. I feel like the Trenta should only come in decaf.
Starbucks secret: the difference between a grande and a venti latte/cappuccino/macchiato is just the amount of milk. They both have 2 shots of espresso.
…I’m so bored at my job right now I’m actually fantasizing
about working at Starbucks. I still have
my green apron.
I'm going to go to the Starbucks on 31st and 6th in about 15 minutes. Cant wait.
And then I’ma go to a party on a boat later! Yessss.
