Are you dual booting, triple booting, or in my case quad booting your system? Are you tired of of using an ugly GRUB boot screen and ready for something more attractive? If you answered yes, to either of the previous questions then BURG  (Brand-new Universal loadeR from GRUB) is is right for you.
What is Burg?
BURG is based off GRUB 2 but adds the ability for graphical components, dynamic switching between themes, and testing of your configuration without having to reboot your computer.

How to install (From Ubuntu &  Mint):
NOTE: This is a fairly easy process, but there is always a risk of messing something up when dealing with your bootloader, thus having a system recovery cd is always a good idea in case something goes wrong and you need to change something back.

The following instructions are intended for Ubuntu or Mint users, although burg can be installed from a wide variety of operating systems (see links below). To install, open up a terminal and enter in the following commands one by one.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/burg sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install burg burg-themes
sudo burg-install /dev/sda
sudo update-burg

Now, BURG is installed so we can go ahead and test that it works and choose the theme we want to apply.

sudo burg-emu

Now you should see a graphical boot menu representation of your system setup. Go ahead and press "t" to switch between themes. Once you've, chosen the one you like reboot your computer and volia!

How To Install (From Other Operating Systems)
Install From Windows
Install From Arch Linux
Install from Fedora
