Very badly i liked to reach you for some development/information.
Yesterday while snapping in the campus in the morning at around 830 am
and as usual in every weekend & holidays, i got shocked to look at an
adult monkey there and back home while down loading and editing the
pictures in the PC.
One monkey got a snail like creature, may be 2" long lodged to its left
face and seems to be infesting in a wound in its left chick by the side
of the nose;
i am worried if its not a snail like creature, it looked some thing else
as well-as if a tooth from the upper jaw has over grown and piercing
out; though its not possible that all of a sudden a tooth can grow and
actually it requires a full life time may be and in that case we should
have seen it for last so many years. If it was a snail it must fall off
its own or by the animal if its causing distress and so painful.
Discomfort is there on its face but the question remains as why its not
trying to dislodge the creature?
i am not sure but it may be horrific for the monkey to bear with the
pain and so we should help to bring relief to the animal.
i like to draw your attention for an urgent action with the animal
committee or doctor or animal specialist, our hospital Surgery
department or as may be existing practice for the well being of wild
animals in our campus.
I am attaching herewith pictures for your immediate action as may be
applicable.
This is an adult and full grown monkey and may be aged, i have found
then in the School 2 ground near the nets at the west end towards Nilgiri.
Thanks.
