Dr. Sailen Kumar Ghosh, (recently retired as Head of Biotechnology
Process Development Section, Food Technology Division, Bhabha Atomic
Research Center) who is contesting the forthcoming parliamentary
elections of 2009 as an Independent, seems to be the most qualified
candidate in the Mumbai South Central constituency.
After 26/11, people said “Enough is Enough”. But everyone only talked
in anguish. Very few have really tried to do something. Dr. Salien
Kumar Ghosh is one of those few who has decided to take the the
plunge. We need intellectual, highly qualified people in politics.
We should not expect any miracle to happen, but let us hope that at
least he will bring about a change. And Change, we need. And it is
high time that the common people of this country did something to
bring about this change. Let us make a beginning by “lighting the
candles” : His Election Symbol !!
Let us ensure that this distinguished scientist gets maximum number of
votes from our colony, Anushaktinagar. It would be a proud moment for
Anushaktinagar if he wins. Another feather in the cap : A politician !
