Four steps, in this order, and step 3 is the one that makes it cost you nothing. 1: join this group with the same Google account your watch uses. 2: open play.google.com/apps/testing/com.priyanshdwivedi.chronicle and tap "Become a tester", which is the step Google counts toward the 14 days. 3: email that Gmail address to priyanshdwivedi7@gmail.com so it can go on the free-install list, and wait for the reply. 4: open play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4699768703672657170 , accept, then install from the Play Store on the watch, where the listing reads "Early Access" with no price. A browser at play.google.com always quotes the full price, so skip the "Download test app" button. Staying opted in for the full 14 days is what the test needs; if one person drops out the 14 days restart from zero. The Garmin version of The Chronicle is a separate app on a different watch platform; this test covers the Wear OS one only.
