Ongoing stories, updates, and quick assignments

Hey Youth Project writers,

Many of you are working on longer feature stories that are taking a few weeks to complete. We have a bunch of quick stories on studies and reports that we need to assign, that require minimal interviewing and shouldn't take you too long. Please let me and Ferk know if you're interested in picking up one of these while you're waiting on sources for your longer stories. I know it's midterm season (when isn't), so we can negotiate deadlines as needed.

And even if you're not available for this, please send me and Ferk updates on your current stories.
