Ok, we need to keep one thread per day or night. Pleas don't post in
the old threads anymore. our lack of organization lost us a night kill
and an investigation last night.

no one sent in a night kill, since that had been lilmookie's job and
we kept switching up on the investigation/recruitment.

Last night, it seems all that we successfully did was recruit
redemption and block face.

Any thoughts about how we plan to handle day 5?

Er I sent the GM our investigation action via SE's messaging system.
either I was blocked or she did not get it.

The issue is that we put in a request to recruit and investigate the
same person because of a mix up.

the problem was that i tried to recruit him, which cancelled out your
investigation. the conversation was spread among several different
threads so we went after the same person.

DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT
me culpa
crap
well we stick to the one thread idea and please cut the thread
-----------------
Right then
TONIGHT (Should I live that long) I will investigate cardinal

da list of potentials:
-Aidentas dead
-cardinal
-redemption possible recruit
-Zelgius
-Foobar
---------------------------
We wanted to kill cb361 last night, unless things change should we
stick with it?

Let's keep it open. Remember if I last through the night we'll get 2
kills, but I'll need to survive the day... I'm working on playing up
all my meager manipulation skills into my desperate plot to stay
alive. I realllllly want to be the first SK to make it to the end,
although I have to be cured to do so it would still be pretty
awesome :)

Well, according to jarringpeach he and I were swapped.. so probably
the deputy I was thinking would rat me out was shiney. The taxi will
probably keep switching him so that we can never get a bead on where
he is to block him.

nice. also, have you clarified with bodnoirbabe that your win
condition didn't change when you got recruited? i would really like to
see how it was worded.

Sorry about the silence yesterday; had to work all weekend. Anyway, I
figure we need to keep juju and the deputy alive, as well as the
horseman, as I think there's still some of the COoSB still alive,
right? Or is my math completely wrong?

Sounds like a taxi driver, what do you all think?

My PM to her: "Question for you (you are going to be so sick of me by
the time this is over I'm guessing) As the serial killer, if I am
recruited, does my win strategy continue to be only by surviving the
longest as it is now? Or does it switch to the group's win condition?
And would they know when they recruit someone what their role is
(therefore knowing if they recruit me that I'm the SK)? "

Hers back:"Your win condition stays the same. You're the SK, no matter
what and you only when if you're the last one standing. I do not
reveal roles when recruited. It's up to the individual to reveal if
they want to. Also, you can send me as many questions as you want. I
feel all important when I see I have a PM waiting. LOL. "

I asked this I think day 2

otherwise. maybe he just hasn't been online yet.

Would she notify us if redemption said no? Also, he might have sent
his message to her about saying yay or nay and she hasn't gotten it
yet. I sent a PM trying to clarify some rules about -_-'s kill (since
the death occurs during the day technically, would that person be okay
if they're protected at night. She let me know we could still block him
because it's a night action to say who he kills, but the actual kill
is during the day so I wanted to triple check on protection) about 8
hours ago and she hasn't read it yet.

We have to consider this:

"The anti-Christ has a special bonus up his sleeve: he is a nexus. Any
night actions performed on him will bounce off and hit a random
player."

If we "accidentally" end up recruiting someone other than redemption,
then we've found our Anti-Christ.

Looks like Mopy J made a pretty big error by coming out like that.
But, I'm slightly defending him, not strong enough to hope anyone will
follow me, but enough so when he comes out clean it will be a little
bit in my favor. Though I leave the door wide open for him still to be
bad in my "defense". As long as they believe I'm clean now they'll
hopefully keep me around to "help" them.

We might want to think about killing redemption, as a sign that there
are consequences to refusing COoSB membership.
However, we also must know that by killing him it's a tradeoff...
we're guaranteed not to be hitting a horseman.
By the way, I would like to request permission to follow the gut
feeling I was thwarted from last night--to kill gmg with my SK kill.

Okay, we're going to have a really silent night since we have this
figured out so far in advance! I guess I'll use that time to figure
out why I have hunches about people and get it all in writing instead
of relying on my memory.

KingPellinore

Sep 9, 2008, 4:20:55 PM9/9/08

As I understand it, everyone sends in their own PM, especially since
several of the actions are character specific night-actions. The only
non character specific night action is my PM of the Night Kill.

Quick Question...since gmg claims to have the prophecy book and there
is talk of protecting gmg, should we consider this an opportunity to
strike at -_-?

juju

So, I have some ideas about my SK kill, but want to make sure you all
agree before I pull the trigger. I don't want to go for gmg after she
came out about the book, so how about cb, Stension or Silent?
I cannot kill redemption or face, because all of my kills have to look
above board.

Also, as much as I don't like the idea of having to lose KingP, I
would almost rather it be at night by -_-'s hand, because at least
he'd be killed at the same time with the Beloved of God thing, ridding
us of his possibly problematic night killing ability, rather than it
just being whatever random townie gets him first in a lynch vote.

Alright, so we don't block -_-, and I'll come out saying that he would
make a good choice of kill, but requesting I be able to finish the
kill I started the day before when I was blocked. -_- has already come
out as willing to kill on the town's recommendation, so he'd be the
logical choice.

No, we hope to wrangle -_- into killing KP, because -_- will die
because KP is the Beloved of God (who kills those who night kill him
or the first to vote for him) that way we don't have to waste our kill
on -_- in the future

Because as it looks now KP is getting so much heat that eventually
he's going down, might as well try to get someone to go down with him
that matters--if he goes down by lynch it'll be the first person votig
for him, which might not be an important role. if it's -_- night
killing him then we know it's someone whose night kill may bite us in
the butt later, and who we're going to have to use a kill on
eventually.
At least that's how I was thinking of things and how I think I phrased
it.

I think I phrased it well enough in there to have a reason why I
wouldn't kill him tonight, and I have an argument all saved about why
I shouldn't take orders from the town when they eventually get to that
point of wanting me as a killer for hire.

Which still begs the question, you guys have a preference on my kill
tonight? I'm still leaning toward cb, Stension or Silent. But cb seems
to have been talking more today, which might make it look odd when he
comes up dead, although I could say that I thought he was talking more
and engaging in the discussion with me in order to disarm me. I'm
going to have to have plausible reason for suspecting someone of being
"cult" in case the town asks.

Also, a thought: cardinal hasn't been named as suspicious by anyone,
while foobar has been mentioned by several. Once KP is dead they might
put more stock into those voting for Mopy J that he called out being
bad, and foobar is on that list. Perhaps we could investigate foobar
and recruit cardinal? It's not as obvious a move I think.
