Blog vs Forum

Hi Ladies!!

I just want to clarify a few things.

The blog is just for general posting of book reviews, book
suggestions, monthly book questions for discussions, and
announcements. The blog is sort of like an entrance area for the
public in general. For members, it would be a place of reference.
The site is like a general web site for information.

With forums like this, there's a tendency for announcments,
discussions, etc. to get lost due to the volume of discussions and
messages. Without the blog, it may be difficult to look for
information on past or current books or announcements without having
to sift through all the postings and discussions.

Please refrain from "posting" on the blog.

All messages and discussions should be posted here unless I ask that
you comment on the blog posting itself.

Book recommendations will first be filtered through the blog. I will
be posting announcements there so please check the blog first before
commenting here.

I need the blog for those sort of stuff.

This forum is for us to chat and discuss things related to the book
club.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. . .

Hey Mary,

Oh, don't worry about it. You may comment on the blog for example for
book suggestions, voting, but discussions should be done here or if
you want to start a thread or start a discussion. The blog is more
for reference and such.

I know it's a bit confusing but I think we'll get the hang of it once
we get going.

It's really difficult to have discussions on the blog especially if
there's different subject matters going on at the same time.

I didn't realize there was a difference, either - sorry! I'll get this
