OK after several excellent chilled New Belgium Brewery products, I clicked the "CONFIRM GAS" button and ordered an Eden D210XST from Musician's Fiend. Yes, fiend. For there is no other word to describe a state of advanced GAS when one has an upcoming gig. :)

The Fiend, no tax or shiping $$ , although, I guess you Oregon folks
don't do tax much? New is nice :-)

Food for thought, you can use a Home Depot hardwood furniture dolly
($20ish) in a couple of ways with that cab besides rolling it around.
It can be good for de-coupling from a floor in boomy spaces and the
cab can be tilt back on it's vertical end as a monitor config when you
have good PA support.

New is ....well. New!
The Zon was the first new bass i ever bought, this is the first new cab. Since the amp head was previously owned by our man walter, it's probably better than new. :)
No sales tax here, we keep voting it down, but the state income tax is horrid  i hear from people who make enough money to be concerned about those things. My feeling is that if we had a sales tax, we could take better advantage of our newly tourism-based economy. The family-wage timber ran out in the 70s.
I don't do so well shopping in actual brick&mortar stores unless they are small, spacious and quiet with non-intrusive salespeople.  Buying online is much more sensible for me. I make exceptions for basses, guitars, fiddles over $100. ..... instruments have to be held and played and vibed out.

Is the UPS truck going to be able to get to your dwelling to deliver
the cab? Aren't you in a remote location (nixed by DB Cooper as a
possible hideaway because even villagers from Kunar province are
unable to navigate the terrain)?

Shhhh....DB Cooper is alive and tending my chickens and medical herb garden under the name Rainbow Skyman. :)
It is pretty tough terrain out here, floods, slides, one lane gravel. If i didn't live out here,  I would undoubtedly be a more frequent fixture on the Eugene music scene.  Possibilities arise; the same good fortune that brought me new gear also brought me a decent new/used car with a big trunk and the possibility of an apartment in town in the near future.
But we do have a gig this Sunday. Harness up the ox-team, Pa, we're going' ta town.
