to The Book of Mormon in the Classical Historywriting
After decoding 1and 2 Nephi as historical records of Jews going into
exile in the Diaspora and the indentification of BoM persons like:
Mormon doomprophet Lehi was Biblical doomprophet Jeremiah
Mormon Nephi was historical Pharao NechoII
Mormon murdered Laban, was Biblical murdered Gedaliah
Mormon Ishmaël was Biblical Ishmael
The Mormon daughters of Ishmaël were the daughters of Israëlprincesses
from the house of David.
The sea travel from the Red Sea till "the promissed land"(Israël) was
the circumnavigation of Africa by Pharao Necho II
The landfall of Lehi was in same pronounced Lycia.
The parabel of Zenos about an olive tree was the lost paradox of Zeno
about the olive tree
The trek to the land of Nephi was the historical migrations of
theThracian Chalybes to Pont.
The Mormon brothers were the Mermnades of Lydia
Their journey by ship to Zarahemlah was the historical migration of
the Thracians of Teos to the Crimea.
Mormon Zoram was the Persian Zoroaster.
The land Lehi was Lycia
The land Nephi was Pontus
Mormon Mosiah was king Mithridates 6 of Pont
The sophistocated Mormon wars were the 3 Mithridatic wars.
Zarahemlah (Tsarenheim) was the Greek Jewish kingdom of the Bosporus
on the Crimea.
The river Sidon was the river thee Don.
King, judge and general Mormon was the Ostrogotic king Ermanarich.
Moroni was the Crimea bishop on the concilio of Nicea
Is it time to go to the next major Mormon Books Mosiah,Alma andHelaman
and see if we could continue the consistent timeline and indification
of events or people, starting with Zeniff.
First we copy what the oficial LDS timeline says about him:
(Book of Mormon timeline)
> Zeniff left the land of Zarahemla with a part of the people of Zarahemla who wanted to go with him. They went to the land > of Lehi-Nephi in an over-zealous attempt to inherit the land of their fathers'> first inheritance (Mosiah 9:1-3). [The Record > of Zeniff is contained in Mosiah 9-22 as a flashback].
(end quote)
We decoded yet Zarahemlah as the Crimea, the land of Nephi as Pont and
the land Lehi-Nephi could be the lands between them Cilicia or
Capacidonia. So we have to look for an historical invasion of Anatolia
as far as Lycia and Lydia by people from the Pontic steppes north of
the Crimea. We come than out with the Cimmerians.
(Wikipedia)
> According to the Histories of Herodotus (c. 440 BC), the Cimmerians had been expelled from the steppes at some point > in the past by the Scythians. and fled from the Scythian advance, across the Caucasus and into Anatolia and the Near > East. Their range seems to have extended from Mannae eastward through the Mede settlements of the
>Zagros Mountains, and south of there as far as Elam.
>In 654 BC or 652 BC – the exact date is unclear – the Cimmerians attacked the kingdom of Lydia, killing the Lydian king >Gyges and causing great destruction to the Lydian capital, Sardis
(end quote)
Bingo: all what we expected from the BoM verses we found with the
Cimmerians, even more, because there is also a mentioning of Mede and
Elam, which we will indentificate as the BoM lands Midian and Helam.
Mosiah 23:[38] And the remainder of them went to the land of Nephi;
and a part of them returned to the land of Helam, and also brought
with them the wives and the children of the guards who had been left
in the land.
Alma 24[5] Now when Ammon and his brethren and all those who had come
up with him saw the preparations of the Lamanites to destroy their
brethren, they came forth to the land of Midian,
( Book of Mormon timeline)
> In the land of Lehi-Nephi, Zeniff and Lamanite king Laman agreed that
> Zeniff and his people could possess the land of Lehi-Nephi, and the
> land of Shilom (Mosiah 9:5-8). Zeniff, who had been made king over his
> people (Mosiah 9:14), took up residence in the city of Nephi (Mosiah 9:15).
> (Wikipedia)
> The first historical record of the Cimmerians appears in
> Assyrian annals in the year 714 BC. These describe how a people termed
> the Gimirri helped the forces of Sargon II to defeat the kingdom of Urartu.
> According to Georgian historians,[4] the Cimmerians played an influential role in the development of both the Colchian > and Iberian cultures. The modern-day Georgian word for hero which is gmiri, is derived from the word Gimirri, a direct >reference to the Cimmerians which settled in the area after the initial conquests.

> Book of Mormon Timeline
> In the land of Lehi-Nephi, the Lamanites came to battle with Zeniff
> and his people (Mosiah 9:14) after a dozen years of building and
> prosperity. Zeniff and his people prevailed over the Lamanites (Mosiah
> 9:18), and restored the peace for about two decades (Mosiah 10:5).
> Another war with the Lamanites ensued, and the people of Zeniff
> prevailed again (Mosiah 10:20).
> In the land of Lehi-Nephi, king Zeniff conferred the kingdom [likely
> around ~160 BC] upon his son Noah (Mosiah 10:22).
(end quote)
The list of Cimmerian kings is very incomplete, so I was not able to
indentify this king Noah, but the other similarities are
so great, that I am allmost convinced, that the Cimmerians were the
people of Zeniff.
However there remain two big problems:
- The people of Zenif (Mulekites were Jews from the deportations of
king Jehoyakim and Zedekiah.
Wikipedia mentions the Jews as well between the many possible spring
offs of the Cimmerians like the Cumbrians and Welsh.
- Zeniff lived around 400bC, the Cimmerians around 600-700
I allready noticed (Zarahemlah was Khazaria) that the time line in the
book Mosiah looks to be wrong by about 500 years,
due to the many sub books waved into it, like the stories of Zeniff
and Limhi.
