Zoram in the BoM was the treasurer of Laban, who was murdered by
Nephi,
and joined him on his travel to Egypt and sailed to the promised
land,
while marrying Ishmaels daughter.
1 Nephi 4:20 And after I had done this, I went forth unto the
treasury
of Laban. And as I went forth towards the treasury of Laban, behold,
I
saw the servant of Laban who had the keys of the treasury. And I
commanded him in the voice of Laban, that he should go with me into
the
treasury.
4:35 And it came to pass that Zoram did take courage at the words
which
I spake. Now Zoram was the name of the servant; and he promised that
he
would go down into the wilderness unto our father. Yea, and he also
made an oath unto us that he would tarry with us from that time
forth.
16:7 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, took one of the daughters of
Ishmael to wife; and also, my brethren took of the daughters of
Ishmael
to wife; and also Zoram took the eldest daughter of Ishmael to wife.
In my démasqué of the BoM, Lehi is Jeremiah, Laban Gedalya, and
Nephi's
father in law Ishmael, Ishmael the Ammonite
Earlier I pointed to the similarity with the murder on Biblical
Gedalya .
Once in the land Nephi he, Zoram, develops like a prophet
(559-545bC),
who
together with Jacob, the younger brother of Nephi, (2Nephi 6:24)
almost literary cites the prophecies of Isaiah. and start his own
religion.
Up till 100bC the religions live together, before the
Zoramites and Nephites separate.
Zoroaster was the Greek name for the Persian prophet Zaratoestra,
(what
is said to mean the associate of the prophet (Jeremiah ?))who founded
the state religion of the Persians, the Part's and theSassanids
(Zoramites).
According to the chronicle of Porphyrios he was born in 598 bC and
died
at the age of 77 in 521bC and made his first prophecy in 568. The
official Azerbeidijan History insists he was born in Azerbeidijan in
the 6th century bC
The murder on Laman happened according to the BoM in 592vC, the
arrival
in the land Nephi around 570 bC.
Ever Since the discovery and translation of the Gatha's (after the
dead
of
Smith) in the 19th century, the historians pointed out to the
similarity in the style of the gatha's and that of Isaiah:
Gth Darius: God, who created the earth;
Bb Isaiah: I am Jahweh, who created all;
Mm Jakob: Aren't they, who made the sea dry up.
Later on we will identify the Zoroastrians of other Persian Dynasties
with the Zoramites.
