Just wanted to invite and encourage you all to audition for Carousel in Oberon this week! Let me know if you want a copy of the script, soundtrack, or have questions about the project!

Auditions take place:

Tuesday 1/28 6pm – 9 pm at the Loeb Drama Center (64 Brattle St.), Rehearsal Room D

Thursday 1/30 9pm – 12am at Farkas Hall (10 Holyoke St.), Studio

Friday 1/31, 6pm – 12 am at the Loeb Drama Center (64 Brattle St.), Dance Studio

Please prepare a short selection from musical theater. Accompanist will be provided.

Come audition for Rogers and Hammerstein’s CAROUSEL at Club Oberon! Carousel tells a heart-wrenching story of two damaged people intensely grappling with challenges of loving and being loved. After a fateful ride on the carousel, barker Billy Bigelow and millworker Julie Jordan give up everything to be with each other. Following their tempestuous relationship, Carousel explores the consequences of love, redemption, and the things that go unsaid. This production will be using Club Oberon’s uniquely immersive club environment to strip down this classic musical and tell its story in as intimate a way as possible, with an original orchestration and small ensemble cast.
