Yep, you read that right. Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend was a Barney hater. She was a member of DIE - Death is Enough. Her bandmates Sally Acorn and Mina the Mongoose were also a member of DIE, and believe it or not, that's how they met!
She coined the nickname "Purple Plush Monster of PBS" and "PBS Cerebrum Destroyer". She remembers Barkley vs Barney and each and every of the playground rhymes. ("Space is where we sent Barney" is one of hers.) I think she had Barney Carnage on her Mac.
And of course she infiltrated the PBS stations and switched the "Barney & Friends" tapes with "Beavis 'n' Butthead" and watched the kids burn him to death.

Oh, she had a jihad of her own - MJAB (Mobian Jihad Against Barney). Everything in her guidebook was typed out on a Commodore Amiga by her. (In 1995, she made the switch from Amiga to Windows 95, the 1995 edition and up were typed in Word.) Every year she'd update the guidebook and sell it on the street or at second-hand bookstores. I am currently copying the text of the first edition onto Google Drive.
