Basket Sampler hours

The Basket Sampler will not have regular hours from January 23 through February 4.  There will be regular classes on Tuesday, January 27 with Helen.  The shop should be open on Friday, January 25 and February 1.  It would be best if you called before you come in during this time just to make sure someone is in the shop. 

There are still a few openings in the willow basket class with Sandy Whalen.  It will take place on Saturday, February 15, from 10am -5pm.  It is a very simple basket that will let you get some experience with willow. 

Willow 'Bread Bed'

Taught By Sandy Whalen. Try a fun and easy introduction into weaving with willow. You will make a willow frame and then do a simple over and under weave using willow. You will have a choice of sea-grass colors for an accent to your tray. Two handles will complete the project. This works great as a "bread boat" or hanging on the wall. Finished size is about 15" long and 6" wide. Please bring an old bath towel to help keep your willow mellow (damp). Class is limited to 10 students.Weaving level: Beginner

$80
