The Association of Michigan Basketweavers convention week is finally
here! The shop will be closed from Monday, October 10 through
Friday, October 14, so we can attend. There are several of us from
the shop attending, so look for some interesting baskets when we get
back.
We will be back in time for the Finding Mona Studio and Gallery Tour on Saturday, October 15. This is a great opportunity to visit 19 stops in the Highland, Milford, White Lake area. You will get to visit studios that are usually not open to the public and shops that have specials and demonstrations going on all day. The tour runs from 10am-6pm and tickets can be bought for $10 per person (children 11 and under free) at Huron Valley Council for the Arts, or there will be some at the shop if you want to start your tour there.
The shop will be back to regular hours the week of October 17. Hope to see you soon!
