Welcome back to Fall Classes!

Beginning the week of September 14, 2009, we will be back to our regular schedule.  The store will be open from 10am-4pm Tuesday through Friday, and the first and third Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm.  We will be having a few new classes in addition to our regular open weaves.

Helen Springer Open Weave     
Tuesday       9:30am-12:30pm            
                    7:00pm-10:00pm        
Wednesday  9:30am-12:30pm        

Helen will teach beginning to advanced baskets using the designs of your choice.  Choose from a pattern, class sample or design your own.
Cost:  $12 plus materials

Beginning Basket Class with Beth Lyons 1st and 3rd  Thursday of the Month    6:30pm-9:30pm 
If you have wanted to make a basket, this is your chance.  We will help you choose something you like for your first basket and teach you basics as you go.     Cost:  $12 plus materials

Children's Basket Class:  Tuesday 4pm-6pm
Kids 6 and up can come in for an open weave class.  We will work with them to design a basket appropriate for their abilities.  There will be lots of design and color choices available.  Call Kathy to schedule alternate class days and times.       Cost:  $12 includes materials

Cracker Basket Class:  Saturday September 19, 2009           10:00am-3:00pm
If you want to learn a twill basket, this is the basket for you.  We will help you twill a base and also twill up the sides.  This makes a nice size basket that is big enough for serving crackers or chips for your fall parties.  Because of the twill, this is not a beginning basket. 
Cost:  $24.00



Kids Fall Basket Class:  Saturday October 3, 2009                10:00am-2:00pm
Kids ages 6 and up can join us to make a fall themed basket.  We will offer a little pumpkin or other Halloween themed basket.                         
Cost:  $15.00



Adult Pumpkin Basket Class:  Saturday October 17, 2009    10:00am-3:00pm
Create a great looking basket that can be used to pass out all of your Halloween treats.
Cost:$28.00




Holiday Make It-Take It Class   Saturday November 7, 2009    10:00am-2:00pm
We will offer several small baskets that are good for gift giving or decorating the house for the holidays.  You may have time to complete at least 2 different baskets during the day.  Kits will be available to make more if you want.         Cost:  $5.00-$12.00 depending on your basket choice.





Kids Holiday Class    Saturday December 5, 2009    10:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-2:00pm
Kids 6 and up can come in a make a holiday pencil style basket.  There will be lots of colors and decorations available.  A bar of homemade soap also will be added and the whole basket will be gift wrapped for holiday giving.                          Cost:$12.00
