Only four chances remain to see Harvey Fierstein's TORCH SONG TRILOGY - this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sunday at 2:00pm.  

Directed by Chris McCoy, and featuring Philip blue owl Hooser, Derrick Freeman, Jennifer Loumiet, Brent Custer, Ellie DeShon, Alex Leondedis, Shelby Bessette, Lynn McCutchen, Raheem Fielder-Bey, and Sam Hoffman, TORCH SONG TRILOGY is three stories dramatizing the life of Arnold Beckoff, a torch-song-singing Jewish drag queen living in NYC in the 70's and 80's through the times of Stonewall, AIDS and other LGBT milestones.

Contemporary keyboard artistry will be at its peak Tuesday, June 5th at 7:30 p.m., when the Barn Players again welcome internationally celebrated pianist Eric Bikales to their new downtown Kansas City home at the Arts Asylum: 1000 East 9th, (off Harrison Street), Kansas City, MO 64106.  Tickets are $15 at the door.

To musically define Kansas City bred pianist Eric Bikales would be impossible. Eric's composing and performing talents have been enjoyed from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Royal Albert Hall in London to Liberty Hall in Lawrence.

On keyboards he's backed up Stevie Wonder, Cher, Tom Waits, Bette Midler, Dolly Parton, Patty LaBelle, Billy Preston, and Neil Sedaka. His original music has also been heard on television's "Law & Order," "Dragnet," L.A. Law," "Boston Legal," "Hill Street Blues," "News Radio," and more.

At this special evening concert Eric will be drawing on his experiences in multiple genres of music to entertain his treasured hometown audience. One night only, come and experience Eric's eloquent keyboard artistry.
