2019 Best Seats Nominations Now Open!

In 2018 The Barn board initiated the Best Seats Award to honor five of Kansas City’s most prolific arts supporters. These are people who have given their time, talent and/or treasure in support of the arts and arts education in Kansas City.

Congratulations again to this year’s recipients:

Carrie Lenahan

Longtime theatre actor and supporter and Manager of Individual Giving at The Kansas City Repertory Theatre

Betsy Sexton

Educator in theatre and forensics for over thirty years and active member and supporter of the theatre community.

Nancy Wallerstein

Chair of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District’s Board of Commissioners and Chair and/or member of several different arts organizations.

Leigh Lynch

Executive Director of Arts in Prison

Dana Knapp

CEO & President of ArtsKC - Regional Arts Council
