Legally Blonde: The Musical
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. Barney Awards & Volunteer of the Year Appreciation Celebration A capacity crowd joined us on Saturday, January 30th as The Barn celebrated our volunteers and awarded favorite performances of 2015. The winners, as judged by Equity actors were:

Welcome to some new members of The Barn family! Board Members Curt Crespino and Kay Noonan Curt was pleased to be invited to serve on the board having spent a better part of 20 years performing and/or enjoying Barn productions. A resident of Kansas City for 25 years, Curt is an ardent arts lover and feels privileged to have come to know and experience the amazing theatre arts scene in this great community. Kay is General Counsel for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting state regulation of insurance. She was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa and received her undergraduate degree in history and political science from Loras College. She received her J.D. from the University Of Iowa College Of Law and moved to Kansas City where her legal career has included private practice, corporate counsel in the pharmaceutical industry as well as her current position. She is active in community theatre as a performer and previously served two terms on the Theatre in the Park Advisory Council, including two years as Chair. Social Media Intern Anne Elise Dimas is a senior at the University of Kansas majoring in Strategic Communications. She will be graduating in May and hopes to pursue a career in advertising. Anne Elise is an active member of her sorority, Sigma Kappa, and is currently involved with Rock Chalk Revue. She was an avid theater nerd in high school and is very excited to get back to her roots with The Barn Players. We look forward to working with Curt, Kay and Anne Elise and are excited to have their input in the board room and out in the community. |

Portable AED (difibulator) Refresher Course If you are one of our volunteers, actors or directors and would like a brief demonstration on using our portable AED, please join our board on Saturday, February 13th at 10:30 a.m. It will only take a few minutes, is free of charge and might save a life. Rex Taylor with Kansas City First Aid will be leading the demonstration. No reservation needed. |

2016 Seasonal Flex Pass Now Available Seasonal Flex Passes for our 2016 season are on sale now. This season consists of: Legally Blonde: The Musical, Jane Eyre, The Graduate, The Elephant Man, Kiss Of The Spider Woman and Nice Work If You Can Get It. With your Pass you receive six tickets for the price of five but the flexibility of how you use your tickets is up to you. Come to all six shows, bring a guest to three shows...the choice is all yours! You also are entitled to reserved seats for you and your guests, name recognition in the program, 20% discount for advertising in our program, and free admission to our musical benefit, Sondheim on Sondheim. You don't have to volunteer for every show but only when you choose.
