any advice son 17 years non verbal, bowel difficulties.
thomas was doing really well had very many extreme challenging
behaviours for many years but with a lot of prayer and hard work he
settled and coped with everything brilliantly. A joy to be with,
however for the last few months behaviour again extreme. Stripping off
trashing the house rolling around. been checked for dental and
anything else all so far negative, he can come out of the behaviours
really quick and start laughing. Just do not know if pain or behaviour
or both any thoughts. HIS COMPREHENSION VERY LIMITED TO SINGLE WORDA

This sounds very much like a food reaction. My son gets this way when he
has milk. Look for food coloring, sugar (or recent antibiotic use), and
milk to be the most likely culprits.

I would recommend looking at yeast as a possible problem, too.

Good luck.

Not necessarily an allergy as much as gut dysbiosis – yeast or other organisms out of balance, which can cause all of the symptoms you described.  Have you ever had him tested for yeast?
