I haven't wrote in a while but hope all is well. I wanted to praise
God. Joshua has started sleeping in his room in his bed by himself
for the first time since he was one. It has been almost a week now
and it may end tonight but thank the Lord he is trying to so hard.
His communication still lags way behind but he swims he runs he plays
he is learning to share and it is so darn awesome. He will be six in
September and I hope to have him potty trained completly but that
still alludes us. Well God bless and good night.

Christy,
Praise the Lord! Your son is a lot like mine. He is 6 1/2 and still
is learning to be fully potty trained and as of 5 months ago, finally
began sleeping in his bed. He slept on the floor from the time he was
out of his crib until just after he turned 6. We tried EVERYTHING to
get him in his bed. When he did start sleeping in his bed he did
regress after a couple weeks and we were just feeling like it was the
end of the world and he would never get it. But he did go back to his
bed eventually. He still has occasional nights he does it but it is
less and less. So hope that encourages you. Your son may regress a
little but he will continue to take 2 steps forward and one back kind
of progress. Or maybe he won't at all and sleep in his bed
consistently. I have found this same 2 steps forward and one back
progress with his potty training. He regressed a lot when he began
kindergarten and then two months ago when our daughter was born. He's
getting back on track again and I'm sure ESY services will jolt him
again.
God Bless,
Jen
