Dear Parents:

Dr. Steven Shaw’s research group in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology at McGill University in Canada is seeking families with a child diagnosed with Autism (lower functioning) to participate in a research study on emotion regulation.

What is Involved in Participation?

o       Parents will complete questionnaires over the phone that ask about the child’s daily behavior, emotions, and medical and diagnostic history.
o       The total time needed to complete the study is approximately 2 to 5 hours. The interviews can be scheduled over multiple sessions.
o       All information obtained will be strictly confidential.
o       Participants will be compensated for their time.
