Dear Friends

The above Project, the 4th of its kind, but for different sources and
cause, has gained widespread support. I request that you become a
sponsor or just help fund the event by making a contribution. The
project is open to all including India, Persian Gulf, Canada, USA, UK
Middle East and non-Anglo-Indian-friends of the Anglo-Indian Community.


Sponsorship as provided by Harry Maclure
1. Players lodging - Rs. 36,000
2. Players boarding - Rs. 88,000
3. Light Refreshments - Rs. 10,000
4. PA system + DJ/Band - Rs. 6,000
5. Prizes for Winners - Rs. 10,000
6. Prizes for Runners-Up - Rs. 7,500
7. Tournament Trophies - Rs. 5,000
8. Hiring of Match Referees - Rs. 6,000
9. Paramedical facilities - Rs. 4,000
10. Kookaburra balls - Rs. 3,000
11. Video + Photos - Rs. 15,000
12. Grand Social Evening
(DJ, Lighting, Dinner, Prizes)- Rs. 60,000
Plus hiring of the Hockey Stadium and other miscellaneous
expenses.

When making a sponsorship/contribution, specify in your email whether it
is from you alone or if you have collected on behalf of others as well.
If you have collected on behalf of others, their names along with the
amount should be mentioned. Cheques should be made in my name Joe
Bailey and sent to PO Box 424 Dickson, ACT 2602. For accountability,
also copy Harry Maclure at <mailto:harrym...@yahoo.com>
harrym...@yahoo.com the sum sent.

Sponsorship/Contributions may also be made directly to Harry Maclure.
Contributions can be sent in the form of personal cheques, crossed and
endorsed 'Account Payee'. These can be made payable to either Mr Harry
MacLure or Anglos In The Wind and posted via ordinary airmail to: Mr
Harry MacLure, "Anglos In The Wind", A-77, 'Book Nook', 3rd Avenue,
Anna Nagar East, Chennai - 600 102, India. Unfortunately, for each
foreign cheque that is deposited in AITW or Harry's account, a
transactional fee of approximately Rs.200 will be deducted by the bank.
The deadline for contributions is set for 16 Feb 2012.

Open to scrutiny

Each week all monies received jointly by Harry and me will be produced
in an emailed statement which will incorporate the names of each person,
the date, amount and a progressive total. (Example - refer previous
project below. This will provide all email addressees with first hand
information, scrutiny and assessment on the operation of the project.
The project will be monitored by all. If an unforseen anomaly occurs it
can be pointed out.

Delhi), till settling in Australia in 1983,

* Founding President of the Australian Anglo-Indian Association of
Canberra (Inc.) established in 1994.

Ministerial Advisory Council on Multicultural Affairs from 2002-2006
* Founding President of the National Federation of Anglo-Indian
Associations of Australia
* Honorary Ambassador, Immigration Place Australia in the
Australian Capital; the monument is to be gifted to the Nation

A similar project was established to assist the forum of A-I Women in
Chennai: White Ribbon Day Launch in Madras on 8 March 2010 International
Women's Day - Violence against Women. Scroll right down to refer to the

attachment for the Australia Post receipt.

White Ribbon Day Launch in Madras on 8 March 2010 International Women's
Day - Violence against Women

Update: More pledges - $ 150/-. Dr Marian D'Souza of Ballarat $100/-
and Denzil and Lorraine Ray of Canberra $50/- . This brings the total
amount collected to $2 950/-.

For the purpose of accountability I give below the individuals who found
interest in this cause and the amount pledged to sponsor the event. If
there are updates, this list will be circulated again. When all dough
has been collected by 2nd or 3rd week of April (refer below) I will hand
it over to the Forum of A-I Women.

Also, irrespective of any updates this list will be circulated a day
before the collection is passed on to Dr D'Souza.

AITW as always, has again obliged to cover this historical event in
their June issue with details and photographs. I have been told by
Harry Maclure that this issue is being made as a Women's edition
covering all women's achievements
