Does Anyone know what our Member of Parliamemt of MLA's are doing for Anglo Indians?

[THE ANGLO INDIAN NETWORK]

I have has extremely poor response while interacting with local Anglo Indian MLA's. They dont respond to email or telephone calls even thought the purpose of their existence is a handful of Anglo Indian families.
Does anyone know what they are doing for us? or more correctly what are they supposed to do for us?
Is it necessary to have them around? I am quite blank............
