Statement of Account - Sponsorship for 2 Day Hockey Tournament in Madras
on 17 and 18 Feb 2012

Dear Friends

There have been contributions coming in towards the Hockey project since
the last Statement dated 13/2/2012.  Contributions/sponsorships have
been received by Harry Maclure and me.  However, Harry Maclure has been
busy with the tournament before and after and has not read his emails
for the last 6 days or so.  Details as to the amount of money received
and by who will be made known soon, including the official receipt
(Western Union/Australia Post) of money sent by me to AITW.  The receipt
will incorporate the amount in $ sent by me and the sum of rupees to be
received by AITW including transfer fee and exchange rate.
The names of all contributors/sponsors will appear in the next issue of
AITW.

Word from AITW sources in Madras are that the teams: Madras Wanderers
and Hyderabad met in the final with the Madras team coming out
victorious.  I spoke to Trevor Vanderputt in Madras; he was extremely
impressed with the stadium calling it of World Standard if not better.
He was also impressed with the oldsters playing in the tournament.
Dayne deMonte played for the Madras Wanderers.  You will read all about
the tournament in the next AITW issue.

Kind regards

Joe
