I found this buried in a closet,and it has a 6L6,a 1 amp 250 volt
fuse, and a mongrel speaker. Now, according to the tube chart,it
should be a 6V6, 1amp 125volt fuse. is it gonna blow anything playing
like this, or must it return to specs? even @ low vol.(2 or 3)i get
decent overdrive tone, but I really like the clean sound these amps
are known for.advice; sugestions? thanks much.

I assume you have resolved this issue by now but in any case replace the 6L6 with a nice nos 6V6 and switch to the original fuse.
This amp needs no bias adjustent
I own this amp Vibro Champ silerface 1972 and i replaced the 6V6 with a nos Brimar and i also installed a Jensen re issue Anlico speaker which sounds perfect.
Well as i mentioned i am late to this post but i figured i should try
