a friend of mine's dad in Jamaica uses this Mann Lake 3-frame extractor - for some reason i'm having trouble pasting a photo . . .

the lid / crank part is broken and he's looking for a replacement to bring with him when he goes -- i can't remember when, but pretty soon so looking for a local source.

he's tried the usual local spots (Urban Farm, Bee Green, Bee Healthy) and has been trying to reach the Mann Lake Woodland location (without success?).

does anyone know a source or have a horde of parts lying around?

thanks!

I believe it is Italian made by Quarti on which
Manlake slap their own label , same for the other 3 frames with embossed bee cell as logo .
You might be able to get it from them directly.

You really do not need a plexiglass lid , any sound material can do , birch plywood from Mc beath hardwood in Berkeley (anything up to 1/4 will do) then cut it go your specification .
Stainless steel ( old stainless steel appliance skin are perfect )
If you insist on plexiglass and have the exact measurement ot template any good plastic Fabricator can help ( Tap plastic ) can make them in a few hours depending on their work load .

you can also do it yourself , you must keep in mind use new peferably carbide drill bit and take your time , plexiglass will crack if heated whem drilling, so just scratch an stop rest a few minutes repeat until done being extra careful when you are almost all the way thru as this stress can also cause it to break (( my experience having drilled plexiglass up to 3/4 thick , lot of frustration and a smile by the sales people behind the counter .
