Looking for a good pet hospital nearby

Can anyone suggest a good pet hospital for my dog?

We were using VCA on 45th and Telegraph, but switched to Emeryville pet hospital which is significantly less expensive and has been good.  We have been taking our cat there for the last couple years.  Mark

 Pet vet is the way to go for vaccine and general healthcare nothing major .

The oakland animal shelter behind the oakland DMV did a brilliant surgery in one of my Westie which had swallowed an entire pork rib on the xray you could see the bone from the throat to the bottom across his body ( they submitted the photo at a pro contest .

We had a fabulous Chinese vet in San pablo across the casino , they retired , the new vet love to make sales of xtraproduct .

For teeth cleaning we now take our dogs to warm spring pet hospital in Freemont , by far the best priced and no surprises while most pay up go $1700 for teeth cleaning , we never paid more than $500 , it is a full servive vet , unlike what it is done around here there are no surprises while most, very upfront . We love our Dogs but some vet do take advantage of this and take dog owner for ss much as possible praying on those feeling , 

Not all vet are crested equal . 
       I could writte a book on my 30 plus years experience with east bay vet , it would not be very flattering for most of them .
