I have installed a swarm box top of my rose trellis.  It faces west so in the afternoon it gets full sun.  Should it be in a shadier spot?

Hi Yolanda,

The general recommendation is put the bait box in the shade, though I don't do that. http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/baithives.html is a pretty fair summation. If you read it through I'm not too sure about the energy lines (ley lines) part and I do recommend the lures.  I got a lesson in ley lines visiting Avebury in England last year by a very earnest young Texan but I didn't quite get what he was trying to teach me.
