Hi Peter,

This is why we introduced the option of using the Pushover app -- so that anyone can get instant notifications on your phone/watch/computer without needing to check your email all the time.

You mentioned you used the app before -- are you still using it? If not, it should help! If you are... is it not notifying you reliably?

Stepping back a level, I should mention that this question comes up every year round about now, and gets discussed to death with lengthy explanations of why the system is set up the way it is. Here's last year's discussion, which may be useful as background:

Thanks Rob for reposting the discussion from last year. I hope folks had an opportunity to read through that thread to see that the playing field is in fact quite level. Our ACBA Swarmlist system is amazing and efficient, serving the interests of the public and the well-being of the bees, with free swarms for members as a tertiary concern. I appreciate the level of detail you put into your part on that thread, as it is quite eye opening for those who may not know what goes on behind the curtain! Thanks for all you do for the club.
